This is a Hebrew keyboard layout for Mac OS, which produces Roman numerals, punctuation and space instead of their Hebrew counterparts (which exist in the Macintosh Hebrew encoding, but not in Windows, Unicode or ISO-8859-8).
This is useful for writing Hebrew in applications that expect Hebrew text to be in the Windows encoding. For example, you can use this keyboard layout when writing Hebrew ICQ messages intended for Windows users or when filling in forms in Hebrew on the WWW (such as when posting Hebrew messages to a forum).
System Requirements
- Mac OS 7.0 or later with the Hebrew Language Kit installed
